ZEBRA TECHNOLOGIES DATA TERMINALS DESIGNED FOR WAREHOUSES AND FACTORIES
Where there are sparking outlets, beams of steel and wood, where there are large containers moving, there can’t be any compromise in the quality of the enterprise devices. Workers in industrial environments need equipment they can rely on in every conditions. We invite you to a short guide to the most durable Zebra Technologies data collectors powered by Android operating systems family by Google.
Lightness - a new generation of stock taking
Zebra MC2200 and MC2700 are new, universal data terminals, freshly from Zebra Technologies. They belong to the class of industrial solutions, but they are a lot lighter than other devices in this category. They also have got a great ergonomics and very affordable price. These water and dust resistant, durable devices are additionally reinforced with branded Corning Gorilla Glass at critical points - at the touch screen and the area imager screen.
The unbeatable Zebra MC9300
The MC9300 has the most rugged design in the data terminal portfolio from Zebra Technologies. The military strength standard MIL-STD-810G guarantees that the computer can withstand drops from 3.1 meters onto concrete at room temperature, which is a truly impressive feature.
Distant codes? Not a problem for this professional computer. The built-in scanning module of the SE4850 can scan codes at a range of 7.62 cm to 21.4 meters! The device is also available with a Direct Part Mark scanner and in cheaper configurations with medium range and 1D code reader modules.
The undeniable advantages of this model have led to the sale of more than 3,000,000 units of the MC9300 series worldwide.
The versatile Zebra MC3300
A compromise between rugged MC9300 and the lightweight and ergonomic MC2200/MC2700 is the MC3300 model. Available in four housing configurations, three mechanical keyboard optionss and a reliable 2D imager (SE4850 ERI by default, although it is available with three other modules), the MC3300 could easily replace any other data terminal in any facility.
Based on the successful design of the MC3300, there were created two terminals designed for everyday registration of RFID tagged goods. Those are MC3330R with circular polarization and directional MC3390R, which thanks to its integrated antennae that stimulate RFID tags, receive a signal about the tag's presence nearby.

The form factor of the TC8000 terminal is designed to maximize ergonomics and eliminate fatigue and joint pain for employees, with the display facing the user's eyes when scanning. The terminal uses the same Qualcomm 8060 processor as the MC9300 computer. The TC8300 is available with the Mobility DNA software suite and supports the LifeGuard Android solution and DPM features.
The 6700 mAh lithium-ion battery fits in the handle like a magazine in a pistol grip, so it literally takes seconds to swap the battery - in both cases time is critical. Moreover, changing the battery does not interrupt your work, thanks to the hot swap feature.
VC80 professional on-board computer
Forklift operators can get more clarity and ergonomics in their asset management. The Zebra VC80 forklift terminal was developed with their specific work in mind. While forklift cages are, by definition, very safe because they protect what is most valuable - the operator's life - from large, falling objects, the VC80 has an extremely rugged body that will protect the computer from being accidentally hit by a code reader, bottle or even a heavier tool such as a hammer or adjustable wrench. With an IP66 certified enclosure, the VC80 is suitable as the onboard computer of any industrial vehicle: Forklift, golf cart, crane, container loader, semi-trailer truck etc.
The predecessor to the MC9300 was the MC9200. A special expansion pack called Mobility Extensions changes the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system into an enterprise system, giving it faster booting, most stable Wi-Fi connectivity and generally improving productivity. To this day, it can still be found in many hypermarkets as entry-level equipment for workers replenishing shelves. However, this trend is about to change in the next years due to the increasing popularity of MC3300 and MC9300.
Zebra WT6000 wearable data terminal
The WT6000 is the lightest of all Zebra industrial computers (just after the EC30 commercial terminal, if we compare all PCs in general - the EC30 weights less than half the weight of the WT6000), which certainly has a positive impact on the well-being of employees, besides, who wouldn't want to feel like a sci-fi movie character at work?
Once upon a time, the pioneer of Android among the warehouse pocket-sized collectors was Zebra MC67 (also available in the configuration for the medical sector) in a housing with a length of only 162 mm. It is powered by Android JellyBean 4.1. The CPU is a dual-core OMAP 4, 1GHz processor. Currently this model is superseded by such devices as Zebra TC21 or TC57.
Zebra MC3200 Universal Collector
There was a time when it was the MC3200 the most powerful and reliable device available on the market. The MC3200 is equipped with a dual-core 1GHz processor and 4GB of Flash memory. It runs on Android JellyBean 4.1, which allows for voice command support. It is available in basic 1D laser reader, 2D imager, basic or pistol grip configurations, and rotating column reader. The user can pick one of three mechanical keyboards configurations. The MC3200 has sold more than one and a half million units, which is the best proof of its reliability. Another advantage is its very affordable price.
