OCR Combo Scan reader is a combination of MRZ passport and full page ID scanner (ID means ID-1 size: typical size of a US driver’s license and other polycarbonate ID cards) in an ultra compact, ergonomic housing ideal for various commercial and governmental applications.The device is especialy designed to read cards conforming to the standard ICAO ID1, identification card, driving license, business card or other paper documents of a maximum size of 86mm x 54 mm. No moving parts provides the simplicity of its use. The device doesn't required external power supply (powered from USB port). The advanced capabilities of Combo Scan include reading printed texts and recognizing both 1D and 2D bar codes and RFID codes. It has an optical system which provides high resolution and outstanding image quality. The advantage of the reader is also easy integration with different systems, including the SDK (Software Development Kit). With OCR Combo Scan reader activities that usually take a few minutes may be reduced to just a few seconds!
