Zebra introduces the WS301, one of the smallest enterprise-class mobile computers designed for frontline workers who operate offline, from retail and hospitality to logistics and field services. The device combines the full functionality of Android with a rugged industrial design and seamless integration with the Zebra ecosystem.
The WS301 differs from its consumer counterparts by offering advanced business features, the highest level of security, and full compatibility with Zebra software, tools, and mobile computers. Employees can use push-to-talk calls, scan barcodes, take photos to document damage, or update task statuses without taking their hands off the job.
The voice-first design allows the device to be operated with natural voice commands, from wake-up to volume control and command reception. Two noise-canceling microphones and a user-facing speaker ensure high-quality calls, even in harsh environments. The built-in 13 MP camera allows you to scan codes, take photos, and record videos to support operational processes.
The WS301 offers great flexibility of use – it can be clipped to a collar, pocket, belt, or worn on the wrist like a watch, and its low weight of approx. 85 g is an additional advantage. The 2" AMOLED display ensures excellent readability from any angle. The device meets IP65 standards for drop, spill, and shock resistance, making it suitable for intensive, all-day use.
The hot-swappable battery provides up to 10 hours of operation, and fast charging allows for smooth handoffs between shifts. Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity ensure stable connections, which is especially important for real-time voice communication.
Zebra has equipped the WS301 with a range of features to improve safety and work organization, including a programmable duress button for quick response in emergency situations and the ability to locate devices via Device Guardian. The whole package is complemented by a rich ecosystem of accessories and Zebra DNA and Workcloud Sync software, which facilitate the deployment, management, and updating of the entire device fleet.
