Citizen has announced the discontinuation of the second-generation CT-S600 and CT-S800 series receipt printers. The final order date is October 15, 2025
The Type II models have been replaced by the new generation CT-S801III and CT-S851III. These are modern devices with increased printing speed, equipped with a USB interface as standard, while retaining the same format and mounting compatibility as their predecessors
Type III printers, which have been available for over a year, are fully compatible with existing solutions.
It is worth noting that selected Type II special variants, such as the CT-S801IIL (Label) and CT-S601IIR (Restick), as well as some OEM models, will remain available for dedicated applications.
