The A-2240 is the new thermal transfer printer offered by Argox. The A-2240 offers larger memory, faster printing speed, longer printing length, multiple communication interfaces, and new improved software than his predecessor - the A-200 model. Rapid printing performance of up to 127 mm/s relies on a 32-bit microprocessor and built-in 4M Flash and 8M DRAM memory.The A-2240 is equiped with a seethrough window which lets users check on when to reload media. Centralized printing alignment allows a maximum 5" OD media roll. For longer printouts such as banners, the A-2240 offers printing length of up to 100 inches. For applications that require printing tags with a hole or notch, the A-2240 has movable reflective and transmissive sensors, as well as an additional fixed transmissive sensor for central hole tags such as used in the apparel industry. It also supports 1D/GS1 Data Bar, 2D/Composite codes and QR barcodes.Multiple communication interfaces include USB 2.0 full speed, RS-232 serial, and an optional Ethernet connector.
