CipherLab provides new model 1564 which has the ability to read the most popular 1D codes and also 2D codes. This handheld wireless scanner is dedicated especially for a wide range of applications from retail to healthcare and post officess but also in the logistics and warehousing. 1564 is equiped with Bluetooth connect with the communication stand up to 90 meters (295 feet) away. Beyond that, it keeps working by storing information until the scanner is back in range. CipherLab 1564 works with high performance battery, ensuring the execution of a full charge to 32 000 scans. The Bluetooth scanner with 2D reader has a buffer memory of 10K or 4MB in batch mode. Robust, ergonomic design and IP30 ingress protection provides resistance to multiple drops from a height of 1.2 m, and from the accidental spills. The device comes with free ScanMaster software which provides comprehensive tools to configure any scanner, such as enabling and disabling hands-free scanning, choosing edit format and symbology types, plus more. With ScanMaster, scanners can be easily customized to fit every working environment. ScanMaster for PC is included with all CipherLab scanners. In addition it is also supported by CipherConnect which is a COM-to-key utility designed for CipherLab Bluetooth scanners to work as an input device for smart devices, such as Smartphone or PDA.
